Being a Qore annual subscriber I was able to acquire a ModNation Racer beta code to test out this PS3 exclusive racer to be released next year. First impression, the game is amazingly fun. Imagine Mario Kart meets Little Big Planet and that’s exactly what ModNation Racers is.

Last week Playstation 3 owner were blessed with the opportunity to get the first crack at the Dante’s Inferno demo on the PSN. Aside from the God of War clone talk and fake outrage promotional marketing schemes I didn’t hear much of the game so went in with fairly low expectations. First off, I must state that I was surprised by the graphics and framerate of the game as the game runs smooth and looks pretty nice. A while back I wrote a little opinion piece entitled “Bayonetta: Bad Music, Pole Dancing and Stripping” where I pretty much expressed my complete disgust with Bayonetta viewing it as an uninspired Devil May Cry clone with an over-sexualized Sarah Palin look-a-like. Well, guess what? Now that I have tried the full game, my opinion on this game has done a full 180 degree shift.
