The game rating system on this site is very straightforward. It’s a traffic lights. That’s it! Each review consists of a bullet-point bite-sized overview highlighting 2 or 3 strong aspects of the game and 1 or 2 weaknesses of the game as well. There are no point or letter scores. The lights are simply a recommendation on whether a title is worth considering as an addition to your gaming library based on my experience with the game. As a gamer with a low attention span for long and detailed written reviews I find this kind of rating system more useful for gamers like me.  There are thousands of great sites that have long and detailed reviews with numeric scores so if find our rating system useless to you, visit one of those. Please keep mind these are RECOMMENDATIONS. Opinions may vary.

The GREEN light advises gamers should not hesitate to purchase this title as it should appeal to gamers as well as non-gamers. It provides should provide a unique and pleasant experience leaving very few regrets of purchasing this title. Just “GO” and get it already!

The YELLOW advises that maybe gamers should “SLOW DOWN” and think it over before purchasing this game. Renting the game would be advisable rather than right out buying it as its a very polarizing game that you will either love or hate. Although it may be an amazing game and have a great review it may be a game that you may want to pass on because of the type of gamer you are and the same old experiences this game provides. It does many things right but the few wrongs will destroy the game experience for many. Proceed with caution.

The RED light suggest that you should “STOP” before purchasing, renting or even playing this game. This rating is only reserved for games that are just broken. That being said, some broken games are fun for some people but provide a horrendous experience for many. Just like some people enjoy burning red lights not everyone should as most of us will get into collision crashes. These games are for trophy and achievement whores only.
